Billing Cycle

Monthly billing — Charged on the same date each month

Annual billing — Save 15% when you pay annually (equivalent to £42/month)

Free trial — First 14 days free, no credit card required

Managing Your Account

Change Your Plan

  1. 1.Go to Account Settings → Billing
  2. 2.Click 'Upgrade' or 'Downgrade'
  3. 3.Changes take effect immediately

If you upgrade mid-month, you'll be charged the pro-rata difference.

Change Payment Method

  1. 1.Go to Account Settings → Billing
  2. 2.Click 'Update Payment Method'
  3. 3.Add your new card

Download Invoices

  1. 1.Go to Account Settings → Billing → Invoice History
  2. 2.Click 'Download' next to any invoice
  3. 3.Save or print for your records

Cancelling Your Subscription

You can cancel anytime:

  1. 1.Go to Account Settings → Billing
  2. 2.Click 'Cancel Subscription'
  3. 3.Your access continues until the end of your current billing period
  4. 4.All your data is available for download

We don't charge cancellation fees or require notice.

Payment Methods

We accept:

  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • PayPal
  • Bank transfer (annual plans only)

Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

Common Questions

What if my payment fails?

We'll email you and retry after 3 days. If it fails again, we'll disable your access until payment is updated.

Can I get a refund?

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee if you're not satisfied. After that, there are no refunds for the current month.

Can I pause my subscription?

Not officially, but you can cancel and restart whenever. No penalties or restart fees.

Do you offer discounts for nonprofits or education?

Email hello@mayordomo.co.uk and we'll see what we can do.

Can I use the same account for multiple sites?

Yes. Add more sites in your dashboard. Additional sites are included at no extra cost.

Technical Issues with Billing

'Payment declined' error

Check that:

  • Card hasn't expired
  • You have available credit
  • CVV is correct
  • Your address matches your bank's records
  • Card isn't flagged for fraud

Contact your bank if it keeps failing.

Missing invoice

Invoices are emailed automatically. Check spam folder or download from Billing → Invoice History.

Credited amount doesn't match my expectation

Pro-rata credits are calculated daily. If you changed plans mid-month, the credit is: (days remaining / days in month) × monthly price.
